YOGA WITH MARSHMALLOWS!

yoga
A couple of weeks ago I decided it had been far too long since I had done any form of physical activity and this lovely yoga supper club, hosted by Kelly Marie, seemed like the perfect opportunity to remedy the situation. So, I got into the lycras (!) and made my way to Bethnal Green, armed with some vanilla and milk chocolate Mallow & Marsh bars to add into the tempting, foodie-friendly goodie bags being put .

A BITE-SIZED BONFIRE NIGHT GUIDE

unnamed
When I think of Bonfire Night, a couple of things come to mind. The first is a very old memory of my dad taking me to Battersea Park fireworks when I was little and putting me on his shoulders to see above the crowds. The second is more of an association; the smell of hot candy floss being whipped up at Clapham Common fireworks nights, after a pilgrimage along the road in big jackets and boots to .

WHOLEFOODS MALLOWEEN MADNESS

halloween4
Malloween Madness at Wholefoods     So last week we tackled the challenge of trying to provide an hour of marshmallowy Halloween fun for 15 very excitable kids at Wholefoods, High Street Kensington. With three different activity stations for the children to enjoy (involving decorating, drawing and skewering), there was lots of activity. Sprinkles and icing did fly!     We hadn’t yet experimented with cutting out shapes with our marshmallows, but this Halloween .

VIRGIN FOOD FEST: FOODPRENEUR WINNERS!

virgin
So, first things first, obviously we’re now best friends with Richard Branson… I mean, this happened:     Ok maybe not BEST friends, but it was genuinely fantastic to meet the man himself and be crowned as one of the five winners of Virgin Start-ups Foodpreneur awards 2015. We arrived to set up our stall on Thursday evening only to find a lovely sign had already been created for us, fancy or what?!     .

Lauren
This week we meet Lauren West; marketing intern at Mallow & Marsh. Here’s what she has to say… What’s your role in Mallow & Marsh? THE LONDON COFFEE FESTIVAL

LCF
Hot and buzzing with a delicious smell of caffeine in the air – Welcome to the London Coffee Festival!  “Coffee is the most important meal of the day” This was a completely different ball game to the spacious, cool IFE experience I described in my earlier post. Key differences: Hot (it was busy, warm bank holiday weekend), products were available for purchase (it was partly a consumer show) and a key highlight; ESPRESSO MARTINIS! .

THE INTERNATIONAL FOOD & DRINK EVENT – FROM THE EYES OF DIANA

IFE stand
This year we decided to join hundreds of food exhibitors around the UK and the world in the UK’s largest food and drink event bringing visitors from all aspects of trade; from delis and your “cute little coffee shop around the corner”, to the major supermarkets, caterers, online shops and distributers. You can imagine the bustle and buzz! It all began with Hannah and I traipsing…well, lumbering, with 15 boxes around the ExCel in .

MEET THE WHISKATEERS – HANNAH SMITH

REMEMBER, REMEMBER THE 5TH NOVEMBER

REMEMBER, REMEMBER THE 5TH NOVEMBER
Remember, remember the fifth of November Marshmallows and sticks must be got! I see no reason, as it’s bonfire season, that they should ever be forgot!   We love fireworks night at Mallow & Marsh, especially as Bonfire night is the perfect excuse to toast a few marshmallows. We thought it would be a good idea to brush off our dusty schoolbooks and think back to that fateful date, 5th November 1606. So back to a little .

LOTTIE ESCAPES THE CITY

My week has been…inspiring Working for a start-up company is very exciting and incredibly insightful. Sometimes it feels like I am catching glimpses from a map of a city that I already know, but there are new roads and secret tunnels drawn in. It is an incredible, endless world that I am seeing, and it all began in Harriots head. When I stepped into Mallow & Marsh HQ on that sunny day in .
