Elevate your cocktail game with our Toasted S'mores Espresso Martini. The sweetness of toasted Milk Chocolate over Vanilla Mallows with bold coffee and a hint of creamy vanilla. Perfect for cosy evenings or impressing guests. This is the taste of the season and only takes a few minutes and some simple ingredients to make. A true pauseworthy pleasure.
INGREDIENTS:
Cocktail
- 1 shot/45 ml Espresso
- 45 ml Marshmallow vodka (or vanilla vodka)
- 30 ml Coffee Liqueur
- 15 ml Toasted Mallow syrup
- 3 Toasted Milk Chocolate over Vanilla Mallows (for garnish)
Toasted Mallow Syrup
- 120 ml Water
- 120 ml Sugar
- 4 Milk Chocolate over Vanilla Mallows
METHOD:
To make the Toasted Marshmallow Syrup, cut up four Milk Chocolate over Vanilla Mallows, and then brown in a small saucepan using a kitchen Blowtorch. Allow some bits to char for extra smoky flavour. If you don’t have a Blowtorch, toast them over a gas hob flame using tongs, before placing them to one side.
In a separate pan, add boiling sugar and water to the pan and heat on medium, stirring slowly. As the sugar dissolves, stir in the toasted mallows. After a few minutes, the syrup should turn a light brown colour.
Using a fine sieve, strain the syrup into a container and chill before use.
Then for the cocktail... Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice and shake for 30 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a coupe/cocktail glass. Skewer 3 vanilla Mallows cut in half, onto a trimmed wooden skewer. Toast them with a kitchen blowtorch or over a gas hob flame, then place the skewer on top of the glass.
